unknown first love [part 3]

*October 2, 2003 Thursday*
the day before our "rendezvous," we saw each other at that jeepney- the same jeepney, wierd.
this time the jeep was crowded but it's okay with me since i'm sitting across and facing "secret."
we haven't talked since our last phone conversation so we had a lot of cathhing up to do.
since we weren't that close yet, it was still kind of akward for me; i don't know `bout "secret."
this time, "secret" broke the silence by asking if we can stop at Walter Mart to hang out for a bit.
and i said, "sige ba. basta libre mo ako pamasahe pauwe." [okay, as long as you pay for my fare.]
and "secret" replied, "no problem. ako naman nag-aya eh. haha." [no problem. i asked anyway.]
......***......***......

"oh Walter Mart oh. may bababa ba dyan?!" the driver yelled. [Walter Mart, anyone's going down!?]
"opo. teka lang po!" and we hopped down the jeepney. [yes. just wait.]
when we we're crossing the road, "secret" grabbed my hand so we could go walked together. i guess.
i thought it was cute, sweet, and thoughtful.
"secret" didn't let go of my hand even though we're inside the building.
[for Filipinos, holding hands don't mean anything unless it's given a malice. i think?]
we browsed through shops and kiosks around the building until "secret" got hungry.
i requested that we should just eat at the stands outside cause it's much cheaper than the fast food chains inside.
i would love to eat at the fast food chains, but honestly i was trying to save money.
"secret" is way too persuasive, so i agreed that we'll eat at Chowking.

i ordered special halo-halo and "secret" ordered a congee.
i thought it was kind of hot weather for a congee, so i settled for a special halo-halo with 2 scoops of ice cream; mango and ube of course.
so much for a fast food. it took us 20 mins to get our food.
when we sat, people we're looking at us and it's making me blush.
i guess i'm just not used being in public with someone; like a date.
"secret" said we should act like we're dating to fool people.
i thought it was an immature idea but why not, right? so i agreed.
in my mind, how i wish it's for real.
we enjoyed our congee and halo-halo.
i really enjoy "secret" being in my company.
i wish we wouldn't stop pretending.
when we finished eating our "mirienda", we went to second floor
to play at the arcade. i think i at least spent 30 pesos on non-sense.
but hey, if it means being with "secret" it is so worth it!
unfortunately, everything must come to an end.
we decided to go home and continue happy times tomorrow at our "rendezvous."
so we went home and part ways.
haha. and yes. "secret" paid for my fare.
what a friend :]
